Within our association, we champion the acceptance of a multitude of artistic expressions and the acknowledgment of their cultural significance.
 

In 2020, the Akhtar association embarked on an artistic exploration that led to a one-of-a-kind adventure: a production that seamlessly combined the art of storytelling with the diversity of non-academic dances.
 

A collective of artists was reunited to present an immersive artistic experience, introducing young audiences to the richness of so-called "world" dances.
 

This concept took form, and with the support of the Theater de La Traverse in Geneva, "The Mystery of the Chest" came to life in 2023.
This dance-theatre production involved 30 artists and an original script resulting from this collaborative effort.
 

Following the resounding success of this initial creative endeavour, our association has decided to  to renew this this daring project for a second round.
 

 Our objective remains steadfast:  foster collaboration among artists and share the diversity of non-academic dances in an engaging and educational manner.
 

As such, artists are currently collaborating on a second creative and exciting project.
